Six Sentence Sunday

Today, we have something a bit different for our Six Sentences. In Same Time Tomorrow, Chloe's best friend, Dana, is a real city girl with wildlife issues. Here, Dana's plight is seen through the eyes of a family of coyotes who find amusement in scaring her....


(Could this coyote be going to visit Dana in New York City???)



Coyote Mom and Dad

The male coyote looked at his mate. “Hmmm...want to have some fun?”
“What have you got in mind?” his mate asked.
“Watch this.” He let out a long, loud howl.
Dana forgot all about the lost battery and her new shoes and went running for the house, screaming at the top of her lungs.
Coyote pups--cute, huh?

    We had a lot of coyotes where I grew up. But if I ever saw a bear or big moose in the wild, those would have me running and screaming!

    Of course, the coyote takes the subway because it really, really cuts down on the commute.
