Snippet Sunday: The Odd Couple

Another passage from our manuscript; this has Chloe and Gabriel talking about their friends. Chloe is explaining to him about her best friend Dana.

 

“When I moved to New York, it was too expensive to live alone at first, so I started looking for a roommate. Dana was looking for one as well.”

Gabriel smiled at the thought. “You and Dana were roommates?”

“For almost three years,” Chloe told him.

“I'll bet that was interesting.”

“It wasn't easy at first. We were like The Odd Couple,” Chloe remembered. “I was Felix and Dana was Oscar.”
