Snippet Sunday: Coupling

A passage from Same Time Tomorrow. This takes place between Chloe and Gabriel shortly after where we left off last time.

 

"So what are you waiting for?" she demanded playfully. "You weren't shy out there in the hallway."

He regarded her with a seductive smile. "Why, Miss Masters, are you trying to seduce me?" he asked. 

"Damn right I am!" She stretched, running her hands through his hair as she kissed him, first with tenderness, then with an increasing urgency. His hands moved down, cupping her buttocks, lifting her to him. She was ready... more than ready. She needed him. And she wanted him... more than she had ever wanted anyone.
